Hi, I’m Heidi — the heart and hands behind Om Daycare. I’ve spent my life caring for people in one way or another, and working with children has always been where I feel most at home. I’m known in some circles as “The Toddler Whisperer”.

Before opening Om Daycare, I worked in the dental field, learning the kind of patience, steadiness, and trust that caring for others requires. Those same values shape everything I do here — from how I greet each child in the morning to how I talk with parents about their day.

I’ve had the joy of working with kids of all ages and abilities — the curious explorers, the shy observers, and the ones who see the world a little differently. Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated, and I take pride in creating an environment where that can happen. Whether it’s helping a toddler build confidence, guiding a child with sensory sensitivities through new experiences, or simply sitting together to share a laugh — I see those moments as the real work of childhood.

Families trust me not just to keep their children safe, but to help them grow — emotionally, socially, and creatively. That’s not something I take lightly. I believe communication, honesty, and consistency build strong partnerships with parents, and I want everyone who walks through my door to feel that their family matters here.

At Om Daycare, the days are full of play, learning, and laughter. But behind all that fun is real care — the kind that helps kids build confidence and curiosity that lasts long after they leave my classroom.
